Social Distortion in the UK?

Hi i'm new to this board, my name is Ruth, I have been a Social D fan for quite a while, and it is not beyond me to say that they are my favourite band of all time.
Anyways, I just wondered have they ever been to the UK? and do you think they would tour here?

Hey Ruth, welcome to the board. Good to see someone else from the UK on here. We are few.

To answer your question - Yes they have been to the UK. Though never properly toured.

The first time was September 1992 when they played 4 shows (Leicester, Stevenage, Windsor & London).

They then played twice in August 1996 (London supporting the Offspring at a secret show and on one of the side stages at the Reading Festival).

They came back in November 1996 and played Leeds and London.

Then the final show they played here was April 1997 again in London.

There's no reason for them not to play the UK again, if they come back to Europe, but it would probably only be a couple of shows on the way to or back from Germany.

I am understanding that a European tour is in the works for this year, as well as possibly Japan and Australia. Hope you get to see them!
